Irrigation service details
Backflow Test Inspection
Backflow devices on the irrigation system shall be inspected as per the Department of Natural Resources. It shall be the responsibility of the Client to notify Contractor that the annual testing is due after the Client receives notification from the County. Any price increases from any government authorities having jurisdiction over backflow testing shall be brought to the attention of the Client and passed on in cost to the Client. Should any backflow device need repairs in order to pass inspection, the work will be performed and billed on a time and materials basis at current rates.

Mark all irrigation heads and valve boxes If system is not marked, O'Hara Outdoors will not be held responsible for damages or repairs.
Irrigation Inspection
The irrigation system shall be inspected monthly for a total of four times. The inspection months will begin the month after the system is started and end the month before the system is winterized. Every zone and irrigation head will be inspected and adjustments made as necessary. The times and days shall be adjusted on the time clock to each zone to alter rates of water in accordance with weather conditions. No repairs to the system shall be included in the inspections, as these repairs shall be billed separately on a time and material basis at current rates.
Irrigation Repair
Fix leaks and broken sprinkler heads.
Irrigation Startup
The irrigation system shall be started in the spring. All nozzle adjustments shall be included in the start-up to ensure water is leaving the nozzles and aimed in proper directions. No repairs to the system shall be included in the start-up, as these repairs shall be billed separately on a time and materials basis at current rates.
Irrigation Winterization
The irrigation system shall be winterized in the fall by using forced air from a compressor to clear all main and lateral lines of water. Should any breakage be discovered at this time, repairs shall be made and billed separately on a time and materials basis at current rates.
